These five areas are:
- Housing retention
- Economic stability and employment/education
- Health and wellness
- Social engagement and community development
- Youth enrichment
We work directly with residents in these areas to reach personal goals or meet specific challenges. And, we offer group workshops and activities that build skills and help strengthen families. This is a way that residents can build inclusive communities and develop networks.
In addition, we collaborate with local services providers who offer specialized services such as case management, counseling, job training and placement, health care services, and leadership development.
The individual services and group programs work hand in hand to create results. For example, a person who wants to work on economic resiliency might meet with our service staff for job application assistance or discussions about entrepreneurship, career counseling, leadership development, or sources of technical training. They may also take advantage of our computer rooms for access and training. Or, they might attend English as a Second Language, financial literacy or resume writing and interview classes.
With stable rent and a safe place to call home, we provide support so residents are able to work, raise families, age-in-place, attend school, and much more. Housing and services are residents’ foundation for a better life.
