  • Mission

    The mission of the Eden Area Communities Collaborative (EACC) is to achieve a healthy, just, and economically viable urban unincorporated community in Alameda County, with a focus on Ashland, Cherryland, San Lorenzo, Hayward Acres, Fairview, and Castro Valley. The strategic approach of EACC to is align the work of residents, elected offices, non-profit organizations, county agencies, and other to achieve the EACC mission.

  • Background

    The EACC launched in Fall 2024, funded mostly by the California Accountable Communities for Health Initiative. A collective impact body focused on action, the EACC is a restructuring of the Ashland Cherryland Healthy Communities Collaborative that RCD has been co-chairing with Supervisor Miley’s office for nearly a decade.
